How it Works

Step 1

Understand the type of clean you need. We offer a wide array of services including general maintenance cleaning, start/end-of-tenancy cleaning, housekeeping, ironing and many others. Please consult our prices list to estimate the total cost and duration of your visit. Our minimum hourly booking requirement is two hours per cleaning pixie per cleaning session between the hours of 6am and 8pm.

Step 2

Request a quote by submitting our form. We will be in touch within the next 24 hours to discuss your requirements, book your first clean and connect you with your friendly neighbourhood cleaning pixie.

Once you are all set for your first trial, feel free to liaise directly with your trusted cleaner to manage or cancel your bookings (Terms & Conditions apply).

Step 3

Prepare for the clean. Every little bit helps making domestic cleaning visits more efficient. Tidying around, doing the dishes or even the simplest of task like filling the mop bucket can help your pixie focus on your cleaning priorities right away. Declutter and put away any valuables to make surfaces safe, easily accessible and prevent any accidents. Make sure that your cleaning equipment and supplies are within reach and in good working order.

Step 4

Introduce your home to your pixie. Be present at the start of your first trial and show your cleaner around. Discuss your priorities, general requirements and any extra tasks to be covered if there's any time left. Introduce your cleaner to your pet/s or if you prefer, lock them in a safe place for the duration of the clean. This will allow your cleaner to be concentrate on the task at hand in safety whereas your pet will not be exposed to potentially harmful substances.

Step 5

Spot check and report any changes. We recommend spot checking at the end of your clean/s to let your pixie know if there is anything that has been missed or for any discrepancies. Any changes made by the customer have to be reported to management. One of our admins will provide you with a few alternative solutions. Any changes on the cleaner's end can be made with the client's consent. Fairify does not provide public liability insurance as the cleaners are all self-employed and responsible for the work they carry out. Fairify is not responsible for any injuries, loss or damage.

Step 6

Pay for the service. After completion, please make payment to your cleaner via preferred method (cash or bank transfer). You will be invoiced for agency fees via email within the next two working days. You will then have two working days to check that your invoice is accurate and make payment. Please check our rates and charges to make sure you are paying the correct amount.

Your information will be kept confidential.

Anchor 1

  • How do I pay my cleaning pixie?
Please make payment after the clean has been completed in cash or via bank transfer depending on your preference. Please do not make any advance payments or pay in advance for your visit. Unfortunately, cleaners cannot accept cheques, cryptocurrency, vouchers as compensation for their service.
  • How do I pay for agency fees?
We will send you an email invoice with the full amount. Please make payment via preferred method within two working days.
  • Do I need to be present on the day of the clean?
Yes, you will need to be present on the day of your first/one-off clean to show your cleaning pixie around and catalog your cleaning requirements. This is also a good occasion to negotiate and make sure that your cleaner is able to manage your expectations. We strongly advise you to spot check at the end of your trial clean/one-time visit to make sure that the pixie hasn't missed anything and provide them with feedback when applicable. If you decide to hand in a copy of your keys, please make use of our key agreement. Management will not liable for any losses or damages.
  • What can a pixie do in 2 hours?
A two-hour clean includes a standard clean of your kitchen including all surfaces (counter, cupboard doors, fridge door, sink, etc.), a good wipe down of any appliances, vacuuming and mopping of floors. Unfortunately we wouldn't be able to cover longer tasks like oven cleaning, wall tiles or the inside of cupboards/fridge due to their time consuming nature. Each of these tasks normally add an extra hour to the session. Secondly, the pixie will focus on your bathroom/s. A two-hour visit should also allow enough time to dust, vacuum and mop all general areas. Of course, some rooms may require more attention than others. To simplify things and make sure we are not missing anything we kindly request our clients to send us a task list with their priorities, requirements and extras. Extras will only be completed if there's any time left over after all requirements have been tended to. Please send us a few pictures if your home is really cluttered or hasn't been cleaned in a long time.
  • Does Fairify provide insurance?
Fairify does not provide insurance against injuries, damages or losses sustained by users. The platform and admin team are not liable for any of the issues listed on above clause. Each and every pixie is responsible for the work they carry out. The pixie may carry insurance that would cover them in the event of a claim however, this is not compulsory. In the event of a claim, we strongly advise you to see compensation from your personal provider. When you decide to go forward with the service, you agree to all terms and conditions.
  • Does the pixie provide cleaning products & equipment?
    1. Your cleaning pixie will provide their basic kit consisting of eco all purpose cleaner, glass cleaner, a few microfiber cloths, reusable gloves, sponges and PPE. 2. The pixie cannot supply specific products (i.e. limescale remover, wood polish, oven cleaner, etc.) as these tend to be a lot pricier and would heavily impact the cleaner's hourly fee. 3. We are not able to supply vacuum and mop due to green commuting. Most of our pixies travel on foot, by bike or via public transport. Having your own hoover and mop is essential.
